New Sage MIP Fund Accounting Client
NFP Partners is pleased to announce the addition of San Luis Behavioral Health Group as a Sage MIP Fund Accounting client. Located in Alamosa, Colorado, San Luis Behavioral Health Group serves the mental health and substance abuse treatment needs of communities in the historic San Luis Valley.

The search for new accounting software to replace a commercial based system was motivated by a realization that the present software was ill-suited to handle the increasing challenges of financial accountability.

NFP Partners Adds Two New Consultants
I am happy to announce that Cynthia Wadle and Stu Goodner have joined NFP Partners' consulting practice. Both professionals will apply their strong nonprofit accounting and financial backgrounds to energize our QuickBooks consulting and outsourced accounting services.

Cynthia Wadle is a CPA who spent the first part of her career in the private sector as an internal auditor and a tax accountant. She is currently the Anchor Center for Blind Children's Accountant and Business Manager, where she oversees all aspects of Anchor's financial and human resource management functions, and supervises a two-person staff. Cynthia, a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, will continue in her part-time position at Anchor, while assisting NFP Partners' clients with QuickBooks set-up and implementation.

Cynthia's practical nonprofit experience, along with her specific knowledge of applying QuickBooks accounting software in a nonprofit environment, will help us expand our QuickBooks consulting practice to better meet our clients' needs.
From set-up to implementation, NFP Partners provides QuickBooks training and technical support to maximize its effectiveness at every step.

Stu Goodner served in accounting and finance leadership for over 15 years, prior to founding Stuartship Services, a consulting group providing accounting, finance and human resources solutions for start-up and other small businesses. He folded the organization into big-four firm Ernst & Young, where he worked with leadership to improve the quality and services of their Shared Services Division in Dallas, Texas.

Since leaving E&Y, Stu joined the nonprofit sector, serving as a Controller, Chief Financial Officer and Consultant for faith-based and affordable housing agencies. Stu came across NFP Partners as he was looking for an organization that provided a full range of accounting and finance services to Colorado nonprofits. He realized that our goals were well-aligned, so it made perfect sense to work together, rather than separately. Stu will provide leadership in expanding our outsourced accounting and CFO services to small-to mid-size nonprofits.

Our ideal outsourcing client is one that values solid financial management, but is primarily focused on its mission and programs. We provide a range of flexible and collaborative arrangements that deliver superior results at a lower cost than doing it in-house.

If you would like further information on NFP Partners' consultants or services, please feel free to contact me at 303-367-1058.

 Warm Regards,

Lee Bengston
