The first days after Labor Day are always a little bittersweet.  It's no fun saying goodbye to the long, warm, sunny days of summer.  But there is no denying the rush of excitement that comes with the first hint of fall in the air, especially for us yarn lovers!   

We've had a wonderful summer but are now ready to embrace the yummy, warm, squishy fibers and the "back to school" spirit that this change of season brings.

New Technique Classes Scheduled! 

Our one-hour Technique Classes are bite-sized overviews of various knitting and crochet techniques.  The classes are designed for students that have mastered the basic stitches and are looking to expand their skills.  Technique classes are $25.00 for a single session, or $100.00 for a package of 5 sessions. 9/13 - 9/20:  Nancy Ricci/Getting Purly With It Trunk Show

What better way to kick-start your fall knitting frenzy than with Nancy Ricci's tremendously popular, beginner friendly knitting patterns?  Come be inspired by hand knit samples from her collection, including her brand new designs for Jade Sapphire!  For more information check out Nancy's website and blog: Getting Purly With It. 

9/13 & 9/20 (7-9pm):  Nancy Ricci Audrey Gloves Workshop

Learn how to make these fun, flirty, fingerless gloves from the designer herself!  The gloves and bows are knit flat and seamed together, so these are a great way for beginner and even experienced knitters to learn to seam and sew like a pro.  $60.00 workshop fee includes both classes as well as a copy of the pattern.  RSVP now to reserve your space!

9/30 - 10/2:  NYC Yarn Crawl
