CHECK OUT THE 2ND ANNUAL NYC YARN CRAWL!

La Casita is extremely excited to be participating in this year's NYC Yarn Crawl, a three-day extravaganza designed to help you explore New York City's local yarn stores, take advantage of each store's special yarn crawl promotions, and possibly win some seriously fabulous prizes! Participation in the yarn crawl is completely FREE, so grab a bunch of your friends and start crawling. No preregistration is necessary, just sign in at each store and you will be provided with a free raffle ticket and information about the scavenger hunt. In addition to a chance to win one of the gift baskets (valued at $350.00), La Casita is offering a complimentary saketini or sparkling cocktail to all yarn crawlers. In honor of this event, we will be open on Monday October 11th (Columbus Day) from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm, so please come by and enjoy a rare Monday at La Casita and watch us draw the winning raffle ticket!

Included in our first shipment are Superior (a heavenly, light as air cashmere silk blend), Operadarte (a self-ruffling wool/acrylic/mohair yarn), Presto (a gorgeous multi-color thick and thin wool blend), and Natasha (a super bulky wool/acrylic/alpaca yarn with tufts of roving for a fun faux fur effect).

NEW KNITTING NIGHT AND PROJECT CLASSES!
Our Tuesday night knitting group has been such a success that we decided to add a Friday evening option as well. Join us every Tuesday and Friday evening from 7:00 - 10:00 pm for our La Casita sponsored knitting/crochet group - the Twisted Stitchas! Each night has a different 2-for-1 drink special so please bring your friends and your projects for a night of stitching, socializing, and unwinding. All are welcome!
We have also added a Wednesday afternoon option for Project Knitting/Crochet. Project classes are $40 for a single 2-hour session or $125 for a package of four 2-hour sessions. Wednesday afternoon timeslots are 1:00-3:00, 1:30-3:30, 2:00-4:00, and 2:30-4:30. Saturday afternoon timeslots are 3:00-5:00, 3:30-5:30, 4:00-6:00, and 4:30-6:30.
