MAY EVENTS AT LA CASITA
May is a month for celebrating. The days are getting warmer, the flowers are in bloom, and let's not forget Mother's Day! With this in mind, we've put together a series of events to help you celebrate all things May.
ArtYarns Trunk Show: Sat May 1st - Sun May 9th
May's flowers are exploding with color, and so are all of the beautiful selections that ArtYarns has to offer. As a special May Day treat, we will be hosting an ArtYarns trunk show to display many of ArtYarns unique colorways including their new "highlights" line. All of ArtYarns' colorways are available in any of their luxurious yarns, and we are offering a 10% discount on all custom orders placed during the trunk show (minimum quantities apply). The show runs from Saturday May 1st through Mother's Day on Sunday May 9th, so it is a great opportunity to select the perfect gift for mom or yourself! Sparkling Wine Tasting: Sat May 8th at 2:00 pm
There is no better way to celebrate than with a glass of bubbly, except maybe with several glasses of bubbly! La Casita is hosting a FREE Sparkling Wine Tasting on Saturday May 8th from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. The tasting will consist of sparkling wine from around the world including Prosecco & Lambrusco from Italy, Cava from Spain, Sparkling Riesling from Germany, Cremant from France, and yes... actual Champagne! All wines will be presented by Brooklyn based importer of fine wine, Verity Wine Partners. Bring mom along as a special pre-mother's day celebration!
Mother's Day Wish List
To help ensure that our customers always get exactly what they want, we are implementing a new "wish list" feature to our customer database. Customers can provide us with a list of their favorite items in the shop, and we will share it with anyone looking to buy that person a gift. In honor of Mother's Day, anyone purchasing items from mama's wish list from Saturday May 1st through Sunday May 9th gets 10% off of those items. The same discount applies on birthdays, anniversaries, and other select holidays, so you don't need to be a mother to wish away! Call or stop by the shop for more details.
Mother's Day Brunch
Looking to spend some quality time with the family on Mother's Day? Why not join us for brunch? You can sit, knit, and enjoy some quiche, empanadas, mimosas, coffee, tea, and maybe a little something for your sweet tooth. We will be giving out special gifts to all mothers dining with us that day so come celebrate with mom at La Casita!
