Getting Ready? | | |
What to bring to school?
The supply list for your child's class will be published this week, in time for the NC Tax Free weekend. The following are just a few things to keep in mind:
- a tote bag or backpack that is sized appropriately for your child & their cubby
- lunch bag (with ice packs and thermos to keep food items at the appropriate temperatures)
- stainless water bottle
The classrooms are prepared environments created by our Montessorians who know how to facilitate learning. They are taught during their training to nurture and inspire the human potential, leading children to ask questions and think for themselves. Occasionally, a director/directress may ask you to bring an item to share. But to minimize distractions, please do not send personal items (toys and other items) from home as this will only distract your child and his/her classmates from the prepared environment.
On a final note, please label ALL belongings...clothing, undergarments, socks, shoes, linens, etc!!!

Paperwork DUE | | |
We realize that summer is a busy time but if you still haven't turned in your paperwork, please do so as soon as possible! Our staff needs time to ensure that all of your paperwork is in order prior to your child starting class. And they also need time to prepare the automated billing which starts August 15th.
If we do not hear from you, we will have no choice but to move you to the waitlist.
