If you haven't already done so, please remember to:

- Fill out the basket sign-up sheet in the office.        

- Turn in your basket by FEBRUARY 16th.

- Include your name, a complete list of items in the basket, and the estimated value of the basket

(this doesn't have to be fancy, as we'll type it up.)

A Letter from the Head of School

Dear Montessori Parents,

Thank you for your attendance at the Parent Child Night. It is certainly one of my favorite events at MCS. The students are so proud to show you their work.

As you might have noticed, we have had some personnel changes in the Outdoor Classroom. Jason Addams was asked to leave under some unfortunate circumstances. The standards of behavior at our school are high. I know you would expect nothing less. Ms. August subbed for a short time with Mr. Patterson. Ms. Neva Tucker has returned to the school to fill the position that she held for many years. Ms. Tucker was one of the people to support the development of Project Greenspace. Please stop by the Outdoor Classroom and introduce yourself to Ms. Tucker. This month the Primary students are studying birds.

We are also seeking an art instructor for the Elementary classrooms. Until we find the right person, I will be holding the classes with the help of the Classroom teachers.

We welcome you to observe in your child's classroom. We ask that you use our Observation form that is available in the office. Thank you for the respect you give our students and staff.

March Madness with Montessori

Dear Montessori Parents,

The MCS Auction Committee is selling basketball jerseys to our families and community to help with the primary focal point of the auction décor. They will also be your keepsake of the 5th Annual Auction. The jerseys will be hanging from the ceiling of the civic center just like the retired jerseys of infamous basketball players! Please consider buying one of these sweet jerseys for yourselves, your children, family & friends. Show your Montessori pride whenever you can! The front of the jerseys will be printed with 'Montessori' as the team name, the color trinomial logo and your number of choice. The back of the jersey will be the personalized name of your choosing and the same number selected from the front of the jersey. The jerseys are made of breathable, reversible mesh polyester. The reversible colors will represent the Montessori uniform colors of navy and white with white lettering. The jerseys are $19.99 each regardless of size selected.

To order, please fill out and return the order form linked below or the form your child brought home to the Office with a check or cash.
