13th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

The City of Jacksonville and the Beautification and Appearance Commission will be holding its 13th annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, December 2, 2011 at the Jacksonville Recreation Center located at 100 Recreation Lane. The Ceremony will be held at 6:00pm and will include music, a special visit from Santa Claus and an outdoor tree lighting ceremony. This year the Montessori Elementary students will provide the crowd with holiday entertainment. Refreshments will be served inside the Recreation Center and all proceeds will benefit Relay for Life.

On Sunday, November 27th at 3 p.m. the NC Symphony presents Holiday Pops. Join the symphony at Northside High School Auditorium for a festive celebration of the holiday season. You'll hear all the music you love, just in time for the most wonderful time of the year.
