Mardi Gras Masquerade Auction 2011
 The Final numbers aren't in, but it was another successful year for the Auction. We would like to thank everyone who volunteered before, during, and after the auction, along with everyone who attended. Wine & Cheese Open House
 The Montessori Children's School will be holding its annual Wine & Cheese Open House on Friday, March 18th from 6:00pm-7:30pm. If you are available to come, we would love to have you. Dyal Photography Classroom Pictures
 Dyal Photography will be at the Montessori Children's School on Saturday, March 19th. They will be taking pictures of your children in the classrooms and in the outdoor environment. Some of Dyal's beautiful work is located on the wall in the office. There is a $10 sitting fee for each child. If you are interested, a sign-up sheet will be posted in the office. |

Upcoming PTO Fundraiser
 One Fish...Two Fish...Nearly New Fish Fundraiser (or maybe just "Easy Fundraising Opportunity") Now that the auction is successfully behind us, let's talk about an easy fundraiser coming up this month. Jacksonville is having Eastern North Carolina's Premier Consignment Event, Wednesday, March 30th - Friday, April 1st at the Jacksonville Conference Center. The organizers, One Fish...Two Fish... Nearly New Fish are offering us a super easy way to earn money called the Terrific Thursday Fundraiser. So far, they aren't really promoting this fundraiser idea for the Jacksonville sale, so we may be able to cash in without much competition. All we have to do is distribute flyers about the consignment sale with our school information printed on them. (Think of all your friends through work, church, play-groups, soccer teams, etc who will be interested in going to the sale!) On Thursday, whenever someone presents the flyer with our name on it at the time of checkout, the school will get 10% of the sale! This could easily add up to a substantial fundraiser for us with very little effort on our parts. Keep an eye out for flyers to come home with your child. Extras will be available in the office.
