Auction 2011 Baskets

ATTENTION: MONTESSORI PARENTS

That's right, it's that time of year again.  We need your help with the The 4th Annual Montessori Children's School Auction Fundraiser!

A-tisket, A-tasket...

Every family is asked to provide a gift basket for the silent auction.  Create your own unique basket OR work together with another family to create the most desired bushel at the auction.  Whatever you do BE CREATIVE.

Variety is the Spice of Life

First, choose your theme.  The more variety we have the better -- so use your imagination!  Some of our favorite themes include:

·        Cooking-utensils, cookbooks, cooking class, spices for the aspiring chef

·        Gardening-tools, seeds, bulbs, composting kit to feed the Earth

·        Crayola-you have kids, you know what we're talking about

·        Legos-you may have the next famous architect in your house

·        Wine-you might need a glass after "bedtime"

·        Spoil Her Spa Treatments-if you know what's good for you!

·        Hot Wheels-for your future hot rod

·        Anything you come up with!

Once you've picked your baskets' theme, contact me by February 4th at (910) 382-3689 or cemoffitt00@gmail.com to let me know which theme you've chosen.  I'll be keeping track to be sure we offer lots to choose from.  Remember, the more creative, the better!  Your complete baskets are due in the office no later than Thursday February 24th.

It's up to you to make this the best fundraising auction we've ever had-so start creating!

Thanks for your help and let me know if you have any questions.

Mardi Gras Masquerade Auction 2011

Preparations for the 4th Annual Montessori Auction Fundraiser "Mardi Gras Masquerade" are heating up!!  We have a dozen restaurants bringing food and wine, the Clamslammers will be rockin' the house, and the Auction items are rolling in!  We have a week-long beachfront rental in Crystal Beach, Florida, a weekend in DC including four tickets to the Washington Redskins, a flat-screen TV, Tickets to the Carolina Panthers, home improvement items like concrete re-surfacing and house-cleaning and many more.  But we still need help!  We can never have enough enticing and desirable auction items!  Each family is asked to donate a 'basket" for the auction so team up and get creative!  The Decorations Committee will need to start building the New Orleans Lamp posts so if you are handy we need your help!  So...please come to the next Auction meeting at Trattoria in Swansboro on Tuesday night at 7pm to join in all the fun!

Thank you,
The Auction Committee
