A Letter from the Head of School

Dear Parents,

Everyone is excited about the Auction Fundraiser, Night Down in Motown, on Saturday evening. Thanks to all of you who have set up the possibility for another huge success. I can guarantee that this will be a marvelous and enjoyable event.

By taking time to share your talents and energy on behalf of the school you add to the event's awesome-ness! Thanks to you all of our guests will enjoy the food, the music, the dancing, and of course, the silent and live auction.

Thank you for your commitment to the Montessori Children's School and for all your support of this special event.

We are in the process of planning six weeks of summer camp. The scheduled weeks will be as follows:

June 21-June 25

June 28-July 2

No camp for the week of July 5-9

July 12-July 16

July 19-July 23

July 26-July 30

August 2-6

Our goal is to provide a fun-filled summer camp for children ages 2.5 to 5 years old. During the summer we begin the day on our playground where children are free to play in the open air, explore the natural environment, and join in water activities. As the day progresses children may choose from a variety of fun and creative activities.

We are also working on some specialty classes for older students. We realize that older students have more choices for day camps and sleep away camps and we support their participation in those exciting possibilities.

We will look forward to seeing you on Saturday evening.
