A Letter From the Head of School

Dear Parents,
I hope you and your family enjoyed your holiday vacation. All of the staff members came back with a sense of renewal. The students came back ready to work. The second semester at Montessori School is always so productive. All the groundwork that was laid in the Fall permits us to go forward at a new pace and a new level of understanding.
We are always so gratefulfor the volunteer efforts that are an important ingredient for the success of Montessori Children's School. The level of generosity continues to become greater and greater. We appreciate your attention to the many needs of the school and the help you give through your participation in PTO, Board of Directors, Greenspace project and classroom support. Of course, we also appreciate the monetary support. I told you about the parent who came in before the holidays with a check for $5000.00. When we returned to school after the holidays we received a check for $20,000.00 and another check for $10,000.00. Thank you to all these anonymous donors!
Thank you for the part you play in the support of the school, the staff, the students and the future of the building projects. We are so fortunate!
Happy New Year,
Peggy Higgins |
