Background
American Health Foundation
The American Health Association was created in 1999 by J. Robert Gordon, and its activities have been expanding ever since. The Association consists of many intertwining projects and activities built around "community based wellness & health" designed to help mostly older Americans live healthier, happier, more productive lives.
Orphans of War Campaign
A program of the American Health Society and a Chapter of the American Volunteer Corps, which collects Teddy Bears, dolls, soccer balls, and whatever else is deemed appropriate for Orphans of War. Orphans of War is not just for Iraq. We send the goods collected by the American public wherever and whenever the need.

About American Health Association
MISSION STATEMENT
The American Health Society is a distinguished 10 year old multi-award winning preventative public health & wellness 501(c)(3) charity whose mission is in preventative healthcare, mental wellness, health education, literacy and advocacy aimed at preventing lifestyle based illnesses, diseases and the frailties of aging.
We have a strong "Social Green Philosophy" of Humanitarian Service through our American Volunteer Corps which has a global outreach in 46 countries with members in 37 US States. |
|
100% of every dollar goes to service the charities programs and services here in Palm Beach County and around the globe. Not one cent in 10 years has ever gone to salaries, of any kind, to anyone. We are, from top to bottom all volunteers in service to the community. | |
