Howdy friends & family,
Wow! Our newsletter coupon (bottom of newsletter) was so popular that we decided to run it again!! The dogs LOVED the extra activities to help break up their boarding stay.
As the summer winds down, we invite you to check out our latest happenings and updates. We have plenty of "action" to keep you and your pup happy and busy the rest of the summer.

How is Action Pack's
Daycare
different from
all the rest?

Reservations required.
Action Pack's daycare "regulars" commit to an assigned day or days each week to help build great relationships with their dog buddies.
At Action Pack Dog Center (APDC) we provide the best environment for your dog to socialize and feel safe. Our playful environment is a result of dogs getting to know each other during repeated visits. This occurs by reducing the stress of meeting new and unfamiliar dogs everyday, no different from the increased comfort level you feel once you become more familiar with new friends. To ensure this, we ask all new daycare clients to make an initial eight-week minimum commitment to the same day(s) each week.
Daycare is currently offered Tuesday-Friday. Spaces are filling up fast so let us know if you'd like to get your pup into our program & we can set up a temperament evaluation today!
We currently have the following spots available:
Tuesdays - wait list for Tuesdays
Wednesdays - 6 spots left
Thursdays - 3 spots left
Fridays - 4 spots left All daycare is by reservation only. We do not offer drop-in service. This ensures that our daycare pack has a nice balanced group of friends who they can relax & have fun with.
* If you think your dog is not a good fit for daycare, try our DaySchool program - - open to all dogs!! Call 512-341-0229 or email training@actionpackdogs.com |

What we're Waggin' about:
Meet Wigglestink! She is Jana & Dave's newest pack member. Jana & Dave just adopted her from Ridgeback Rescue. She was "supposed" to be their next foster, but this little cutie stole their hearts... along with Jana's flip flops, Dave's boxers and anything else that looks like it needs chewing! So... next time you visit Action Pack, don't be surprised if you see Jana working, training & playing with her new puppy. |

Health Tip:

photo of Hutch, one of Action Pack's finest
Did you know that some common "human" first aid remedies can actually be harmful to your pet?
A lot of us see a scrape and reach for the bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide. If you see a minor cut or scrape on your family dog - Hold the peroxide!
Hydrogen Peroxide can actually do more harm than good. It can damage healthy skin cells and can kill vital tissue necessary for your pet's wound to heal. Instead try rubbing alcohol diluted 2:1 with distilled or sterile water. Then treat the injury with a triple antibiotic ointment. This will ensure happy, healthy healing!!
This health tip is brought to you by resident vet tech, Melanie.
