A Boy, a Bicycle, & a Best Friend
Every now & then you get a chance to watch a beautiful relationship develop right before your eyes. Meet Jake and his puppy, Tina. Jake brings Tina to daycare twice a week and then heads on to school. Tina just trots right along with Jake as he pedals to and from school. It has been a joy to watch them both grow up. What a wonderful life Tina has... an exercise regimen, socialization with a balanced group of dogs, and a thoughtful, caring owner!
A
perfect partnership! |

Day Hikes with your Dog:
The greater Austin area offers many great trails and places to hike. Take advantage of this cooler weather now because it won't be long before it is much to hot & humid for long hikes. If your dog is under 1 1/2 years, they should be only going on short hikes otherwise you can damage the cartilage in their joints.
These basics are essential for a dog-gone great time.
1. Water & a collapsible dog bowl. Keep your dog hydrated and giardia-free by providing his own water.
3. Booties; rough terrain can be tough on your dog's pads if they have not been conditioned for it.
4. First Aid Kit; include vet wrap.
5. Snacks & Treats; both for you and your dog. | |
