Greetings!

Our thoughts and best wishes go out to everyone in Vermont who is suffering from the effects of Hurricane Irene.  We are so grateful to have weathered the storm just fine.  Our grapes are heavy and ripe on the vine and harvest is just around the corner.  Unfortunately, many of our Vermont neighbors have not been so lucky.  For the next two weeks, we will be donating a portion of each wine sale to the VT Red Cross to help the many victims of Irene's damage here in Vermont.  We invite you to stop in, taste some wine and help us help our neighbors.

 ***

Roads are in good shape in our area and travel is clear from the NY and Boston areas.  If you're planning a trip to Vermont, check the VT Agency of Transportation website below for a map of roads affected by the storm.

New Releases:

Duet Ice wine

2010 Duet Ice Wine

Made from the Vermont grown varieties, Vidal Blanc and Arctic Riesling, this authentic ice wine glides softly on the palate. The finish is long and has a well-balanced refreshing acidity. Rich fruit flavors of melon and pear make for a perfect ending to a hearty meal.  $ 45

New World Red2010 New World Red

New World Red, is made with the cold hardy grapes, Frontenac, Marquette and St. Croix. This vintage is proof that 2010 was a prime growing season for Vermont, hot and dry with just enough rain, therefore full fruit and aromatic spices are prominent. The aroma of this 100% Vermont grown red rises through the glass with a hint of smoke and rich cherries. A soft mouth-feel right up front, that leads to a finish with mild tannins and lingering spicy notes.  $ 17
