2010 LaCrescent

This Vermont grown white wine has an enticing fresh nose reminiscent of apricot. Sweet and balanced with a crisp spiciness that insists on a second sip. Perfect for a warm summer evening. Pairs well with spicy dishes, scallops and mesclun salads. $16.

2010 Lakeview White

A perennial favorite, this semi-dry white wine has a burst of fresh fruit and a crisp acidity that is perfect for a summer's day. Enjoy with fresh fruit, soft mild cheeses and light salads. Look for this new release in July! $13

2009 Cab Franc Merlot

Earthy on the nose with soft aromas of dark fruits. Light bodied and dry with soft and mild tannins that lead to a long enjoyable finish. Aged in oak for over a year. $17

Stop in the Tasting Room at Shelburne Vineyard to pick up your free Vermont Winery Passport! Visit a winery, get a stamp. Collect 10 stamps and you will be entered in a drawing for one of three fantastic prizes! (21 Vermont wineries participating). It's a great way to support local Vermont Winemakers and grape growers, and a good opportunity to taste some of the fantastic local wines you've been hearing about! Winemakers Notes:

All our grape varieties are finally in bloom. The timing is very good this season, the rain has stopped and the sun has emerged along with some warm temperatures....an ideal situation for good fruit set!! Grape blossoms are not very showy...just small greenish blooms but they do have a nice aroma. Check out these photos of the grape buds.

Got Corks?

Be part of The Cork Brigade - the cork recycling program that will keep your corks out of the landfill! Save your corks and bring them to the Shelburne Vineyard Tasting Room - both natural and synthetic corks are acceptable. We'll collect them and send them to TerraCycle, where they're up-cycled to live another day.
