heading1Oak Alley Plantation Arts & Crafts Festival
VACHERIE, LOUISIANA
oak alley placeholder image

Oak Alley Plantation will host its 20th Annual Spring Arts & Crafts Festival this weekend on its lovely grounds.  The festival offers high quality, handcrafted, original items made by artists and crafters from throughout the United States.  This juried show only allows items made by the exhibitor and he must be on hand to talk about his craft during the show.

There's plenty of activities for the kids -- pony rides, a petting zoo, EuroBungy jumping, face painting, jewelry making, and sand art.

Enjoy music as you indulge in delicious local foods such as jambalaya, fried fish poboys, crab cakes, red  beans and rice, bread pudding with praline sauce, and much more. Pssst!  I never leave without trying their fantastic mint julep!
