run club

ET Run Club is open to everyone - regardless of fitness level or running experience!! We invite you to come join one of our regular group runs that are held on Saturday mornings at 8 AM. We run outside year round, and we run in small groups according to distance and pace. The distance typically ranges from 3 to 7 miles on any given run, and we make sure no one runs alone.  One of the highlights of our group run is the coffee social held after almost every run - after all, who doesn't run to eat?  MORE

Our leg muscles are arguably the largest muscles in our body. Yours are probably rock solid from all that running and biking you're doing. Why, then, don't they work when you're in the pool?  Here is the deal with the swim kick: if you kick correctly, you can make yourself faster and conserve energy. If you're kicking incorrectly, you can exhaust yourself and make it harder for yourself during the rest of the race. By using proper technique and conditioning your swimmer's legs, you can make your triathlon race faster and more pleasant.  MORE

You'd have to be living under a rock to not have heard the buzz about Justin Bieber's new movie, Never Say Never.  Anyone who knows my girls can surely imagine that there's no shortage of "Bieber Fever" in our household.  No school last Friday meant that I was looking for something fun to do with them.  That's how we found ourselves at the first showing of Never Say Never, along with a gaggle of other tween girls and soccer moms.  MORE
