Did you know?

United Way

Servidyne recovered nearly $75,000 for the United Way

Find out how!

Welcome to the first Servidyne newsletter of 2011.  We thought we would take advantage of the new year by focusing on a couple of "new" topics.

The first is something that might be brand new to you - electric vehicle infrastructure solutions.  We've all heard and read about the promise of electric vehicles, and I think for most of us that means new electric and hybrid cars.  Well electric trucks are also here to stay, and finding increasing acceptance serving local delivery fleet needs.  Owners and operators of these new electric truck fleets need a reliable energy partner with contracting abilities to design and build the infrastructure to serve these fleets, and they are turning to Servidyne.  In addition to infrastructure build outs we've developed a charger monitoring and control system that shows the real-time status of each charging station, the environmental impact use of the station is making, and the current charge on each truck.  Heck, it can even pick up real time electricity consumption at the whole facility, control building HVAC equipment, and enable demand response participation.  Pretty cool stuff.

The second is an old idea the represents the right place to start with a new energy efficiency initiative - an energy audit.  Not all energy audits are alike, and not all auditors are equally qualified, so make sure you know what you are looking for and go through the right process to find your energy auditor.  We've been doing energy audits for more than 30 years, and please call or email us if you have any questions about where to look and how to start.

Thanks again, and happy reading
