BUSINESS KILLERS WORKSHOP IS BACK

We will be hosting a workshop entitled "Business Killers" on Thursday, March 22nd at 5:30 PM. Presentation starts at 6:00PM. Admission to the workshop is $15 and will be held at Citrus Valley Association of REALTORS® at 504 East Route 66, Glendora.
The Business Killers Workshop deals in depth with 6 very important common mistakes that can threaten your business and will show you steps to help you prevent these costly if not business killing mistakes. At the workshop there will be six top professionals in their respective fields who will do an analysis of the topics presented and discuss any steps that might be taken to protect you and your business from making a business killing mistake.
The common mistakes which will be covered at the workshop are , "I know what my business is worth."; "I'm too busy running the company"; "That'll never happen to me"; "There's plenty of time for that"; "My business is my
 retirement"; and "You can't beat Uncle Sam."

JIM RILEY NAMED GLENDORA 2011 CITIZEN OF THE YEAR

The Glendora Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announced that Glendora resident Jim Riley has been selected as 2011 Citizen of the Year.
Jim has been very actively involved in service to the community of Glendora for nearly 35 years beginning in the early 1970's when Jim joined the Glendora Junior Chamber of Commerce or Jaycees as they were known. While with the Jaycees, Jim not only participated in its many projects, but indeed chaired most if not all of them including the Glendora Christmas Parade, Flashback to the 50's, The Great Glendora Festival and The Miss Glendora Pageant. Jim also served on the Glendora Police Department from 1968 to 1999.
Jim Riley will be honored at a banquet in his honor on Thursday, April 19th at the Glendora Country Club. Reservations are $45 and are required. Tickets will not be issued, but beginning March 19th, those who prepay will be placed on a reservation list.
