Extreme Casa Makeover - Mazatlan Edition | The teams have tackled two separate construction projects this year! Push has raised over $2,000.00 to continue with home modifications in 2011! Our efforts greatly blessed two families with kids at the rehab center Padres y Compadres by meeting basic needs in their homes.

Jorge - Recipient Update | Do you remember Jorge, from our newsletter last spring? Team 19 got a chance to visit Jorge and he is now working, fixing computers! He is sitting up, no more vertigo or hopelessness from being stuck in bed all day. You could see it all over his face, he has hope and dignity and is truly making the best of his situation. He has been able to talk with his 5 year old daughter recently and you can tell he is a very proud father. She is his motivation to keep fighting to get better and I hope they will reunite very soon! It was great to see what a difference a wheelchair can make. |

Growing with Medical Supply Donations | Push International is growing with donations of medical equipment to the local Red Cross and various hospitals and clinics in Sinaloa.
"In our next container bound for Mexico are a number of hospital beds, medical exam tables, I.V. poles, oxygen concentrators and a variety of medical supplies. These will accompany many excellent donations of therapy equipment and our usual batch of wheelchairs." said Jeff Lair, Push Director. "Our friends at the Red Cross and doctors from around the state are excited to put all of this equipment into immediate service in medical clinics located in some very rural pueblos." Get Involved! |

I want to deeply thank you for your support.
This next year I am moving into some unchartered territory, I am taking a one year sabbatical... Read More |
