Welcome to Our May Newsletter!
This next month we have an upcoming Happy Hour in Cady's Alley June 16th, and other exciting news and information about what's happening in the IFDA Washington Chapter. In the President's message, Jackie Passaro gives tips about how to stay involved with IFDA to make your membership worthwhile!

Hillwood Mansion Tour a Success!

If we'd been able to order the 'perfect day' for our tour of Hillwood Mansion and Gardens on May 5th, we could not have done a better job. It was glorious! The gardens were in full bloom making the outdoors tour every bit as beautiful and interesting as the indoor tour of the room-by-room collections of Marjorie Merriweather Post. Highlights from the collections of this noted Washingtonian include Russian Icons, Faberge Eggs, English China - and jewelry.

Members who attended the event all offered our thanks to Laura Fox of JANUS et Cie for planning the event.

A Note From Laura: Thank you to those who were able attend the most recent events, The Hillwood Tour, and the Mosaic Tile Event. Both events had a great turnout and were very informative. If you weren't able to make it to those events, sorry we missed you! But stay tuned, because we have many more fun events planned for this year.
