Happy New Year from Cedarburg!Following the rush of the holidays, we're finding our guests eager to savour the winter season. We look forward to greeting you as you experience winter adventures in and around Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Consider downhill skiing, snowboarding or snow tubing at Sunburst, which is located approximately 25 miles northwest of Cedarburg.

Ice Skating - The City of Cedarburg maintains the river at Boy Scout Park and the lagoon at Woodland Park for ice skating. The rinks are closed when the temperature falls below zero, until the rinks can be plowed after a snow storm, and during unseasonable weather conditions. The rink at Boy Scout Park is lit for evening skating and offers a heated shelter.
Snow shoe equipment rental is available at Local Motion Outfitters, located
in downtown Cedarburg. Also, a .3 mile looping snow shoe and cross-country ski trail is maintained at Zeunert Park in Cedarburg. Located approximately 15 minutes north of Cedarburg, Riveredge Nature Center is another great place to hit the trails!
Following your outdoor adventures, be sure to take advantage of the Inn's dry air sauna, fireplaces, in-room whirlpool baths and walk-in steam showers.
If weather prohibits outdoor ice skating, consider indoor skating at the Ozaukee Ice Center (located just 2 miles south of The Washington House Inn). Check their Web site for updates regarding public skating hours.
