When Bud Surles resigned as General Manager at the first of September, it was not an easy task to set out to find just the RIGHT person to fill his shoes.
Surles did an extra ordinary job dreaming up the vision for this resort and added blood sweat and tears, bringing it to life.
It was natural that Mill Creek Ranch would start the search internally but they would have to find a person who had a passion for this resort like Bud Surles and also a creative vision for the exciting years ahead!
Mill Creek resort owners did not have to look far. If you have ever visited one of our cottages, you have probably been lucky enough to meet Alan Franklin!
Alan has been the Cottage Sales Director here at Mill Creek Ranch for a year and a half, after a long career in various business management and sales.
He has been the FACE of the resort and has done an extraordinary job taking care of each family interested in owning a vacation cottage. Alan never stops in his persuit of meeting ALL the needs for Mill Creek Ranch, and for the people that share their lives with us here.
It was ALWAYS the BIG picture that he considered, even though he was really only hired to sell cottages.
It was such an obvious choice and a natural "fit" for the next General Manager. Ask any one of his cottage owners!! His understanding and passion for every aspect of this resort has been a large part of the success here.
He enters into this next venture with a wonderful vision and very high hopes for this resort that he has come to love and Mill Creek Ranch staff and family are excited to have his energy and vision to carry on the traditions that have made this resort an award winner from day 1, and to launch us into the exciting days ahead!
