Our New Years Eve Murder Mystery Theater was a BLAST!! Letter from Bud Surles, the Parks Developer and Manager:
Dear Friends of Mill Creek Ranch Resort,
2008 is now behind us. And what a year it was. We had our Grand
Opening in July and already have won recognition locally and nationally.
Our of 4000 privately owned resorts in America, on 21 were given an "A"
rating by their guests. And we are proud to say, we were one of those. But much more needs to be done. And we cannot do it without you. You have been our lifeblood, and without you we will not succeed. So I just wanted to say thank you for being our guests, being patient with our construction, and giving us good advice in how we can make it a better place.
Just another sidebar, to all who have seen our cottages and have
been curious about the economics of owning one, let me give you an example of our first resale. The family owned the cottage for only 7 revenue producing months and after paying the amenity fee, electricity, they still made 6% return on their investment. How many investments in 2008 came even close to that? And the operative question is why would they sell after only such a short time?
The answer is simple, they want to upgrade their unit to an executive cottage. If you haven't heard about our vacation rental
