New Housing Notices are posted on-line routinely at www.hud.gov. Industry partners should watch the HUD Notices page for new postings that affect their business and daily operations at HUD properties.
Some recent notices of note include:
- 2011-27: the expansion of REAC authority to approve or deny AFS stub period waivers
- 2011-25: EIV & You brochure clarification on requirements and use
- 2011-24: reissuance of protocol for placing HUD Flags for failing REAC scores
- 2011-22: revised procedures for requesting REAC reinspection

| APPS Tip - Flag for Incomplete 2530 |

Did you know?
HUD can place a Flag on the record of both the Owner and Management Agent if non-profit owners fail to obtain HUD 2530 approval every time a new Board Member or Officer is elected.
Instances of these HUD Flags are on the rise in 2011, as HUD embarks on a nationwide mission to bring non-profits into compliance. CA's are advised to verify 2530 approval at MOR's. HUD PM's are advised to confirm compliance before approving a Rent Increase or HAP Contract renewal.

Did you know?
Multifamily REAC Inspection Reports are released in the PASS system on Thursdays and Fridays.
Be sure to log into the HUD Secure System and go to the Physical Assessment Subsystem to download your full REAC Inspection Report on the Thursday or Friday following your inspection. These reports are an important tool to use for on-going maintenance and capital needs planning.
