Many work within tight timelines routinely to meet HUD requirements or application deadlines. Others handle resident issues daily. Many more race to stay on top of weekly workloads. This balancing act is especially difficult during the Holiday Season, when year-end pressures and family commitments ramp up.
The folks at the REAC TAC Help Desk understand. They faced their own additional stress earlier this month when a sprinkler issue forced them out of their work space. Moved quickly into temporary space, they didn't miss a beat responding to your calls. For that I say, "Thank you for your dedication to Customer Service."
At this time of year, it is tradition to plan for the new year. Be sure to also spend time to reflect and thank those that helped you along the way.

Did you know?
HUD understands your frustration with missing WASS ID letters and Access Key Codes. Several recent screen changes are geared toward helping you receive these letters:
- reformatted "send to" list in Business Partners Maintenance
- reactivation of the "re-send" function in User Maintenance
- updated confirmation process in Business Partner Registration
It is HUD's hope that you will do your part, by alerting the receiver that these letters are coming and educating them on the importance of getting them into the hands of the Coordinator.

Did you know?
Sometimes a new inspection is never scheduled after a property is released from a DEC referral. Many are thinking "wish that was me."
The truth is, you cannot resolve your Flag until a new, passing, inspection occurs. Be sure to contact REAC or your HUD Project Manger to kick this re-inspection loose. Resolving HUD Flags on your Previous Participation is an important business practice.
