5000 Sites Still Don't Have EIV Access
This recent stat appeared to surprise HUD a bit. Why don't these owners and managers get on the ball?!

Section 8 Tip of the Week |
Did you know?
HUD wisely determined that Section 8 funds provided through ARRA should be exempt from the stimulus bill reporting requirements. A huge relief to folks across the nation who scrambled to meet (or missed) the first quarterly reporting deadline.
All efforts were not in vain, though. A DUNS number will be required, going forward, for all Section 8 properties. If you did not complete this step back in October, take the time to register. See our Helpful Links below for the web site. |

Did you know?
The door to the elevator room must be locked or it will be recorded as a health and safety deficiency during a REAC inspection, even if the inspector does not otherwise need to enter the elevator room.
