What's New!
|
Breaking news last week from Fox News: "The federal government's Web sites are in large part difficult to navigate." (For the full article, see our Helpful Links section below.)
To those of us working with HUD on a regular basis, this is no surprise. The information is there. www.hud.gov is full of important, timely and helpful information. The problem? Many users can't find what they are looking for. HUD is on top of this. Having conducted a usability survey this winter, they are presently considering modifications in several areas.
If you are searching for resources, finding it difficult to maneuver in the HUD Secure System, or can't figure out how to create a 2530 in APPS, Murphy Consulting is here to help. Call us at 410-821-6953.

HUD System Tip of the Week
|
Did you know?
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
is streamlining the Systematic Alien Verification System (SAVE) database and providing HUD with a one-time
opportunity to ensure that all of its assisted properties have access
to SAVE thorough EIV. The SAVE system will be used to verify the
citizenship status of applicants or tenants who are noncitizens and who
claim eligible immigration status. Only one person per property should be registered for access to this database. HUD is urging owners and managers to register that one designated person immediately via e-mail to saveaccess@hud.gov The requested registration deadline is May 15, 2009.
Authorized
users of HUD's Enterprise Income Verification (EIV) system who also
become authorized to use the SAVE system, will be able to access SAVE from EIV
later this year.
