What's New!

Effective March 1st, 2009, TRACSMail is no longer HUD's official system for file submissions, but HUD has announced they will keep TRACSMail available for transmissions through March 10th. Please be advised that HUD will disable TRACSMail services effective March 11th.

You can still submit files in iMAX via HUD's Secure System with this link but only if:
  • you have a valid WASS/Secure Systems M-ID and password
  • the IMAX role is set up
  • you know the TRACSMail ID and password for the property
If you are having problems transmitting files with a system-to-system interface (ie not via a direct log in to the HUD Secure System).  Be sure to contact your software vendor, not HUD, for resolution.

If you are still having trouble obtaining an M ID # or experiencing difficulty obtaining Rights to iMAX in the HUD Secure System, remember, Murphy Consulting is available to help.

REAC Tip of the Week

Did you know?

If residents tie up the Emergency Pull Chords in their units, this constitutes a Level 3 REAC Inspection violation, even if you have documented notification to them prohibiting this action.  Hardly sounds fair, but it is true.

The good news is, typically, inoperable pull chords result in a relatively small point deduction on your overall REAC Inspection.  Nevertheless, be sure you perform a 100% unit pre-inspection prior to a scheduled REAC Inspection. You may find more issues than Pull Chords in your units.

Murphy Consulting can refer you to a quality pre-inspection professional in your area.  Contact us today.
HUD Secure System Tip of the Week

Did you know?

A Password reset in the HUD Secure System will require you to provide exact information from your original User ID registration. Additionally, the reset password will be sent to the e-mail address provided at your original registration.

Failure to enter information accurately at initial registration can cause major headaches down the road. Murphy Consulting can not help you with this one - you are at the mercy of HUD!

Be careful with your data entry and be sure to double check your work.  The extra moment you take now, can save time and trouble down the road.
