Industry insiders expect HUD to issue a mandate making use of the EIV system mandatory for Owners and Agents some time later this year. Did you know?
Inside dwelling units, there are 7 extremely high impact deficiencies. Four are in the bathroom: GFI Inoperable; severely clogged drains; inoperable ventilation/exhaust system; water closet damaged, clogged or missing. Two are in the kitchen: sink missing, damaged or inoperable; and GFI inoperable. The last is an inoperable HVAC system. These are all items you can catch, if you conduct a 100% pre-inspection of your units.
