It's been a great year for our Dane County Regional Airport. Direct flights to top destinations across the country have increased. So has the demand for the convenience and quality service that DCRA consistently provides.
A recent article in the Wisconsin State Journal reports that service is up nearly 5.5% at the airport over last year, with some travel agents saying that airport activity has returned to pre-recession levels. That's not just great news for our airport, it's great news for our regional economy. It's also a testament to the support that you have given to DCRA over the years. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for all that you've done. Every airline ticket purchased for business or leisure, every kind word, and every recommendation you provide for our world-class airport makes a big difference. That difference is producing some big results.

Google's next frontier in digital mapping will span the world's shopping malls and airports including DCRA. To be completed in October, Google Inc. unveiled a new mapping feature that will include indoor directions and maps of the Dane County Regional Airport. Google's indoor maps can only be viewed on smartphones and tablet computers that run on the company's Android software. |
