DCRA Presents Home Run Derby
The Dane County Regional Airport teamed up with the Madison Mallards on July 24th to present the 2012 Northwoods League Home Run Derby. Eight Northwoods League All-Stars went head-to-head to compete in the Home Run Derby prior to the All-Star Game. Four players from the North Division and four from the South Division represented their respective divisions in the contest. Twenty-three home runs, 10 of which occurred in the final round, ensured North representative, Trevor Podratz of The Honkers, would make a lasting impression. |

Speedy Security Checkpoints X2
Do you have an early morning departure? A second TSA checkpoint at the south end of the terminal is open during morning rush hours 4:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. This checkpoint is located by the yellow plane hanging in the lobby and includes the same layout and procedures as the primary checkpoint located near the center of the terminal. American Elevates Transcontinental Service
American Airlines continues plans to enhance and modernize travel with newly announced customer-pleasing interiors onboard their 200 transcontinental aircraft. From new cabin interiors and updated amenities to Wi-Fi; the new aircraft will offer a unique, state-of-the-art travel experience and lie-flat First and Business Class seats with all-aisle access.
To ensure customers traveling from coast-to-coast have access to the latest in inflight entertainment, American plans to outfit the entire aircraft with seat-to-seat chat, live text news and weather updates, 3-D moving maps, airport maps, connecting gate information, and more.
For customers traveling in the premium class cabins, a complimentary inflight entertainment selection of up to 75 movies, more than 150 TV programs, 350 audio selections, and up to 15 games will be available on a 15.4-inch HD-capable touchscreen monitor positioned in each seat. Bose® QuietComfort® 15 Acoustic Noise Canceling® headsets will be available. |
