   POWER! It's In The Seats...

These days most passengers traveling through DCRA are carrying a laptop, a SmartPhone or plenty of other electronics with them. Once they arrive and are waiting for their flight, their needs are quite simple - they want a comfortable place to sit and a source of power for their electronics to stay charged.

DCRA is now home to a new, innovative seating experience that will meet these needs.  Scattered throughout the upper concourse, these in-seat power stations can accommodate power cords and USB cables for the passenger's convenience. Each unit allows passengers comfortable seating while their electronics are charging before their flight.

new united logo

Throughout the past year, United and Continental have been slowly merging their brand, operations, and Web sites  - most notably the new logo which is being updated on all planes.

On Nov. 30, 2011, both airlines received a single operating certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), a key merger milestone that allows the airlines to operate as a single entity in the eyes of the FAA.

For the forseeable future, the company will continue to sell tickets on United and Continental flights, and passengers will still check in and fly with two separate airlines. DCRA passengers can expect Continental tickets, signs, and check-in counters to disappear over the first half of 2012.

Winter Reminders...Ice & Snow - Take it Slow!

Conditions can change from sunny to blowing snow within an hour or two. This unpredictable weather often catches us off guard and can make for a difficult drive.

By preparing yourself and your vehicle for the snow and ice, you will make your travel safer. Despite the hard work and dedication of city and county highway crews it takes a joint effort to keep our highways safe. Whether you are a Wisconsin native, a new resident, or a visitor, it does not hurt to remember to slow down, allow extra time, make sure your vehicle is in good repair, and have an emergency kit for your car.

PICK A SPOT...
ANY SPOT...

We know you don't want to begin the first leg of your trip driving around a parking ramp looking for a place to park. DCRA has some pretty sophisticated equipment to save you this dreaded drive.  Each floor of the ramp has a sensor in the entrance and exit to count the cars.  This availability is shown on the sign out front.  Not convinced on the accuracy? Don't worry, parking staff audit the ramp for empty spots throughout the day to augment the computer.
