Airlines start enforcing carry-on luggage limits

Fuller planes, coupled with travelers trying to avoid paying checked luggage fees is leading to scarce space in overhead bins. You may even have to pay for gate-checked luggage if the size doesn't conform to carry-on size rules.
Hey, spring breakers: Pick up a corn theme tee & healthy snack at the airport

Check out the Wisconsin Marketplace (across from Gate 5) for a new line of "corn themed" and Madison T-shirts, just right for Spring Break. The wall across the back of the store has an array of healthy and new, value-priced snacks.  Organic dried fruits, protein bars and baked chips are just some of the choices.

Nostalgic candies
at the Wisconsin Marketplace. Swedish fish, Pixy Stix, candy necklaces and more, join an array of popcorn, pretzel, and animal cracker choices--all two for $5.
American joins other airlines in charging $50 for flying standby

American Airlines, which includes American Eagle, announced that it will charge $50 to fly standby for tickets purchased on or after Feb. 22. The fee does not apply to AA's elite status customers.  For airlines leaving from Dane County Regional Airport, only United Express still accommodates standy passengers at no cost.
