FOTA Executive Committee

As sure as the changing season brings color to the Arboretum, the cool of Fall ushers in a season of profitable activity for FOTA. September played host to the OP Council President's Green Space Golf Tournament and Arts for Kids, two of our signature fund-raising events. The Holiday Luminary Walk - up next in late November and early December - is just six weeks away.

Under John & Karen Clayton's dedicated leadership and with the help of a perfect Overland Park Friday, the City's signature annual golf event drew 84 golfers and raised some $14,000. Thanks for stepping up, John and Karen! Oh, and congratulations Jeanette Lee, who shot the elusive Hole in One at St. Andrews.

"More than 2000 people attended Arts for Kids (not counting children under two)," according to long time event chair, Stacy Gilman. Arts netted more than $12,000. Great job, Stacy, and a great big THANK YOU to all the volunteers and staff who make this event a "one of a kind" addition to our community and quality of life.
Arts for Kids
Whether its golf, kids or plants, multiple opportunities to serve exist at the Arboretum. 2012 committee assignments are being finalized now. Please contact FOTA for more information.
