STNC Meeting Wednesday, January 12
Dear Neighbors,
Join us this coming Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 7 p.m. for the first STNC meeting of 2011. Our meeting will include the much anticipated Best Of Sunland-Tujunga Awards and a presentation regarding a new Farmers Market opportunity. Also on the agenda are updates regarding the upcoming Citywide Budget survey and how you can participate. Potluck starts after 6:30 p.m.

Help Plan a CITY-WIDE DAY OF SERVICE PROJECT
to be held on March 12, 2011
All the service projects will focus on the LA River and/or the environmental impact of the river. The day of service is not just for those who live along the river but to all reaches of the city. Any community member is urged to submit a service project proposal for March 12th. Project Proposal is due by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 21, 2011. Next planning meeting for this region is on Thursday, January 13, 2011 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm at 7747 Foothill Blvd., Auditorium, Tujunga, CA 91042.

DEBRIS & MUD FLOW MEETING - this Thursday
*Location Change*The City's Emergency Management Dept. is hosting a debris flow meeting for Sunland-Tujunga area residents on January 13, 2011. Help spread the word to your neighbors...especially since the location has changed to the Sunland Senior Center, 8640 Fenwick, Sunland (across from the Sunland Post office).
