Homeless Connect Day
Monday, Nov. 1 - 9am-2pm
Homeless Connect Day Flyer
The concept of Homeless Connect Day is to reach out to the homeless
individuals living in our community and provide them with assistance
and resources. It is the first step in ultimately matching the
homeless and transient population with opportunities necessary towards
living independently and off the streets. In a collaborative effort,
local community service agencies and volunteer groups will come
together on Monday, Nov. 1 to connect the homeless with medical screenings,
mental health and substance abuse assessments, and temporary housing
opportunities.

the word out about this event. This flyer is presently being distributed
throughout the local homeless community by our LAPD Senior Lead Officers
and representatives from Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority.
We are also seeking assistance from the community to serve as volunteers
or provide healthy snacks on the day of the event.
Big thank you to all who have been involved in this outreach effort.
