OPPORTUNITY: Crescenta Valley Multi-Use Trails Meeting
TONIGHT
The County Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled a community meeting on October 20 at 7 PM at the La Crescenta Library (corner Foothill and La Crescenta Ave.). They will be giving a presentation on the proposed first leg of a multi-use trail which is intended to ultimately give our community access to Mt. Lukens. This is an opportunity to show support for trail access, and give constructive input into the particulars.

Great California Shakeout Drill & CERT
TOMORROW
The Great California Shakeout drill takes place on Thursday Morning, 10-21 at 10:21 am.
Please sign up on the following website http://www.shakeout.org/drill/ and participate. Read the information thoroughly and make note of what you need to do in order to be prepared to take care of yourself and your family in the event of a real disaster. There will not be a general assembly meeting place.
Please contact me if you are interested in taking the free 7 week Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training classes and I will make the necessary arrangements. We must have 25 people signed up before a class can be scheduled.
