Advisory Message: Wanted bank robber. Green Tattoo bandit
Advisory Message has been issued by the LASD  - Headquarters Newsroom
(SHB), Los Angeles County Sheriff.

Wanted bank robber. Green Tattoo bandit robs same La Crescenta bank
last week and in 2007. See the photos.

A man robbed the "Bank of America" at Foothill Boulevard and
Pennsylvania Avenue, La Crescenta, on Thursday, September 9, at
12:48PM.  He has been dubbed the "Green Tattoo Bandit" by the FBI.

He presented a note demanding money. He left the bank with an
unspecified amount of U.S. currency, and was last seen driving away in
an older looking white compact sedan that was possibly driven by a
second unidentified male.

The bank robber is described as a Male Hispanic, 30-40 years old, 6'
00" tall, 200 pounds, and a green colored tattoo on his neck.

See the photos of the robber.  One is from 2010 and the other two
photos are from 2007.

The suspect is also related to another robbery at the same bank on
November 28, 2007.

Anyone with information as to the identity or whereabouts of the Green
Tattoo Bandit is asked to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff's
Department, the FBI, or call 911.

30/10 In the Works

Metro's transportation agenda is In The Works with the 30/10 Initiative to leverage Measure R revenues as collateral for long-term bonds and a federal loan to allow Metro to build key mass transit projects in 10 years, rather than 30 years.  The initiative is gaining widespread support among labor, business, the media and mobility advocates throughout the region.  Over the next six weeks, two of Metro's significant Measure R projects will be hosting public hearings, and Metro will be co-sponsoring the Ninth Annual Mobility 21 Southern California Transportation Summit.   Also of interest are upcoming meetings of the California High-Speed Rail Authority.   See dates below, and visit Metro's website at www.metro.net for more information.
