Experienced Medical Writer -- Multiple Sclerosis Content Home Based |
This is a contract position; writer can work in home office.
Pharmaceutical/biotech training company seeks an experienced medical writer to create/write content for a series of up to seven (7) 50- to 60-page multiple sclerosis training modules for pharmaceutical sales personnel. These modules will be written at a medical school knowledge level. Topics include, but are not limited to, neuropathophysiology, MR imaging, diagnosis, clinical trial results, treatment algorithms, symptom management. Module content outlines are provided, as well as significant source material.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Create draft and final module content
- Participate in conference calls to review materials, as needed
- Completed writing to include annotated references in client-required format
- Participate in client's medical-legal-regulatory review of draft content
- Adhere to aggressive predetermined timeline
- Access to Microsoft Word and Adobe Pro required
Required Education/Experience
- Advanced degree in science/medical field preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years professional medical writing and referencing experience
- Experience writing neurology and/or multiple sclerosis materials
