| She's Gone Virtual! |
|
We often hear a client say, "I don't know where to start, but I know I can do it with instruction. Just give me a plan and tell me what to do!" And of course, with the state of today's economy, people are trying to do more on their own. We now offer a special "virtual rate" for providing organization help over the phone or through email.

| Greetings!
Growing up in Ohio, I remember my Mom occasionally searching through my Grandmother's backyard to find a 4-leaf clover. She was very patient--sometimes searching for what seemed to be hours until she found one. She has even happened upon a clover with 7 leaves! Some would say my Mom is "lucky."
Searching for a missing item in a mound of clutter is like searching for the elusive 4-leaf clover. Sometimes you get "lucky" and find it, other times you end up frustrated with the lack of results from your search.

The spotlight this month is on Action Centers. Every home should have one, and every work desk needs one. An Action Center can be set up in slots included in the hutch portion of a desktop, or it can be established in a portable desktop file holder.
Your Action Center files should include any that you have to deal with the most often, such as "Bills to Pay", "Calls", "Current Projects", "Meetings/To Discuss", and "Waiting for Response."
The Action Center is the first place you should go immediately after you retrieve the mail from your mailbox. File any mail requiring action according to your categories, and trash or shred what you don't need. Make sure you check your Action Center often--daily in most cases--to ensure anything needing attention is not overlooked. Having an Action Center in place will help you avoid missing deadlines and ensure you keep up-to-date with current projects. It will also help you to be more efficient and less cluttered, making it easier for you to focus on other important areas in your life! | |
