Greetings!
Do you know what's special about January? It's "Get Organized Month!" Now in its 5th year, GO Month is dedicated to raising awareness of the benefits of getting organized. The awareness is definitely increasing! It's apparent in nearly every marketing venue out there. Radio and tv commercials for companies such as The Container Store and Lowe's tout their products to help with organization. The Dallas Morning News for the past two Sundays has devoted 2-3 full page articles to getting organized.
Each year, the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) conducts a GO Month survey with members of the public.
Of 400 adults polled in a November 2008 survey, 96% said they would save time every day by becoming better organized. Since 65% of respondents noted that their household was at least moderately disorganized and 27% said they feel disorganized at work, it is clear that the general public could benefit from, and in fact needs the services of, professional organizers.
To help promote GO Month (and getting organized in general), Organized Chaos is partnering with another professional organizing company- We Can Do That 4U -to offer Our 1st Annual GO Month Contest for small business owners! Just click on the green light for more information.
Organizing Tip of the Month: use only one calendar (or electronic device) to track all of your appointments. Otherwise it's too easy to overlook something or to double-book your time. Some electronic devices -such as Blackberry- synchronize with Microsoft Outlook. This allows you to keep your schedule with you at all times, but also makes it possible for you to print or share your calendar with others if necessary. Make sure to review your calendar at least once each day to avoid missing appointments or deadlines.
Would you like to be entered in our quarterly drawing for 2 hours of our services free? Just Forward this newsletter to 3 people and you are automatically entered! (For your forwards to be counted correctly by our system, you must use the forwarding link provided in our newsletters.)
This month's spotlight is on our very first client. Read about her in the spotlight section!

Client Spotlight
This month's spotlight is on our very first client--Deanna Devine, Devine Memories Photography. (Helping Deanna with her organizational needs, and Deanna's encouragement, contributed to our desire to help others become organized and Organized Chaos was formed.)
An award-winning photographer, Deanna Devine-Silvestre has worked with Dallas Child, Fort Worth Child, BabyDallas, and Dallas Teen, shooting their magazine covers and features. She has also worked with Stephanie Anne, Trees of the Forest, Greater Dallas Christian Life Magazine, local celebrities, and wonderful families across the DFW metroplex and the nation.
Deanna's clients choose her because of her sensitivity to children and their needs, her flexibility, her unique style and passion for her work, and her willingness to go to the ends of the earth for them. She achieves her signature style by using only natural light and working exclusively on location.
Deanna's testimonial was the first listed on our website: "Before Organized Chaos came in and organized my business, I had no system whatsover and was losing valuable, money-making time trying to figure out where everything was and what I was supposed to do next. They organized my office, my calendar, created working systems, and made my business much more efficient."
For assistance with organization in any area in your home or business, enlist the help of Organized Chaos. Call or e-mail us today!
