WATER HAULING RECOMMENDATION
(Dear e-News;)
With the drought, I contacted my old standbys for water delivery to supplement my meager well production. I found this:
Chinatown is taking no new customers "until the drought is over". "Waterboy" and others did not return calls. We finally got a real person on the phone at Hills of Texas Bulk Water of Dripping Springs (554-6451). My assistant, Stacy, talked to Hank, the owner or manager, and was told that next deliveries were two weeks out ... not an option for me. Using her best sweet Cajun voice and declaring an emergency, she was able to arrange delivery of 2,200 gallons for $140. You might want to pass this information on via email to our Volente residents. They might prove to be an excellent alternative to Chinatown and others.
