 Photos from Saturday's VVFD Pancake Breakast are now posted at the website above. Our thanks to Steven Cabillot for taking pictures and making them available to us. Thanks also to all the volunteers who helped make the Pancake Breakfast a success, working inside and outside of the kitchen. We especially need to thank Norm Manley for bringing his oversized pancake griddle and also Starbucks (Four Points location) for donating coffee again this year.
It was great fun and we appreciate all the residents who came out to support the fire department.

Volente Blood Drive Hits New High for Donations |
Jacque Potts, VVFD Auxiliary President, reports that the Volente Blood Drive collected 26 pints of blood - 8 more than last year! Beating last year's record seemed dubious at first, especially since we had some last minute cancellations - but our residents came through for us.
We asked for more blood donors from those who just came to eat pancakes and sure enough, we filled the vacant slots! Jacque will write more about this in the December newsletter, but THANK YOU to all the donors! |
