Hope Teams Finish Second at MIAA Field Day
Complete ResultsBoth Hope track and field teams finished second at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) championships which concluded Friday at Alma College. Calvin captured both championships.
Hope crowned MIAA champions in 13 events. Freshman Shaelie Harper was a double winner in the women's meet, capturing the long jump and triple jump while junior Cameron Lampkin was the men's sprint champion with gold medal performances in the 100 and 200 meter dashes. Junior Nick Rinck won the 400 meter hurdles event for a third consecutive year as did senior Jeff Minkus in the triple jump.
