SUCCESS STORY

Weekly Meeting* with Nursing Organization Determines Roll-Out Letter Elements

This week, we brainstormed with a multi-site long-term nursing organization about how to roll out the program. We weighed whether a gradual roll-out, building momentum from the ground up, or a full-court-press announcement would be a more effective initial step for them. We are leaning toward the grass roots approach. The RM is customizing the pre-formatted letter from our WC Manual - he found it so much easier to start with a template than to start from scratch.

The Roll-Out Letter includes:

·       Brief summary of what the 30 divisions do well and where needs
improvement as determined by the Gap Analysis Report.

·       WC Scores® Best-to-Worst & Worst-to-Best. Nothing creates
incentive like being on the top of the Worst-to-Best List!

·       Recommendations for Improvementfor each division.

·       Brainstorming Conference Call Information.

·       Teaser Documents - employee brochure, physician brochure,
      Sample TD Policy.
*30 business units are using the Workers Comp Tool Kit
® with a 3-year support package which includes weekly meetings.
