We are happy to announce that Honest Green has been acquired by United Natural Foods, Inc (UNFI).
UNFI is the leading independent national distributor of natural, organic and specialty foods and related products. UNFI had FY 2011 revenue of $4.5 Billion and has approximately 6,900 associates and 27 Distribution Centers in the US and Canada. The whole Honest Green team has moved to UNFI and the husband and wife co-founders, PJ and Rosamaria, have been named Co-Presidents of the new Honest Green division of UNFI.
FAQs for Current Customers of Honest Green
Q: Where will the products ship from?
A: For now we will continue to ship products to your customers from our Jersey City, NJ warehouse. We will give you notice as we start shipping from additional UNFI facilities to broaden our selection and provide faster delivery times to your customers.
Q: Do we place orders in the same way?
A: Yes. Until the end of 2012 the ordering system with be the same ( http://orders.HonestGreen.com or POs to orders@honestgreen.com) Starting in 2013 we will have the full UNFI ordering system available to us including online shopping cart and FTP file transfer, as well as email, fax and even phone.
Q: Will the product selection increase?
A: Yes! Honest Green currently offers about 1,500 SKUs, but we will start adding 1,000s of new SKUs from UNFI, ready to start shipping in early October. We will then be able to pick more of the best green lifestyle, nutritional supplements and non-perishable organic food from among UNFI's 60,000 SKUs.
Q: Will the price we pay rise now that you are part of UNFI?
A: UNFI will continue the Honest Green practice of offering competitive pricing to our drop ship etailers and our bulk buyers and retailers. The Product Feed which Honest Green publishes each weekday lists the wholesale price an etailer pays and the gross margin percentage earned when the etailer sells it at MSRP.
Q: We need a W-9 from any Vendor we pay. Where can I get a W-9 from UNFI since Green Irene LLC is no longer an active corporate entity.

If you pay by credit card: You will shortly start to see "Honest Green - UNFI" or "UNFI" appear on your credit card statements.
If you pay by paper check: Checks for payment of invoices dated 9/7/12 or earlier should be mailed to the address you currently have on file.
Checks for payment of invoices from Honest Green/UNFI dated on/after 9/10/2012 need to be made out to:
