ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: PRISCILLA HOWE & MARILYN KINSELLA |
Did you know that Priscilla Howe and Marilyn Kinsella have a combined total of over 35 years of storytelling experience? That's a lot of time on the road and a lifetime of stories to share! See them live April 9th-11th at the Cape Girardeau Storytelling Festival.

Howe tells funny, scary, serious, goofy and sophisticated stories, tailored to her audience.
She has performed in English, French and Bulgarian and has produced a number of CDs and DVDs of her work. Howe resides in Lawrence, KS.
"My gift to others is the use of my stories to take, reshape, call it their own and pass it along."- Marilyn Kinsella
 | Performing as a storyteller at the Edwardsville Public Library in Edwardsville, IL, Kinsella honed her skills as a storyteller and puppeteer. After her retirement in 2002, she has worked as a full-time, freelance professional storyteller. Her collection of stories has grown from a handful to hundreds of stories which include: personal experiences, folk tales, literary stories and historical tales. Her stories will make you laugh, cry, think or, maybe even see yourself. She resides in Fairview Heights, IL.

The Cape Girardeau Convention and Visitors Bureau worked with several Southeast Missouri State University student organizations to increase student involvement in the 3rd annual Cape Girardeau Storytelling Festival. Student organizations involved include the Advertising Club, Photography Club, Capaha Arrow, Rage 103.7 FM, as well as students in the video, design, and business departments.
