Free Lunch Program 
At each Twin Rivers summer school location, children 18 and under can receive breakfast and lunch Monday through Thursday at no charge.  All meals are nutritiously balanced and contain fresh fruit.

Many thanks to Jill Van Dyke, Director of Nutrition Services, for securing a $70,000 California Department of Education Equipment Assistance grant which will allow the modernization of the Grant Union High School cafeteria serving lines. 
 
Summer Reading Opportunity:  From June 17th to July 29th, Twin Rivers school libraries will be open on Wednesday mornings from 9:30am to 12:30pm.  Students, accompanied by an adult, may borrow books, use the computers, enjoy a read-aloud and participate in other activities.  Participating sites include Aero Haven Elementary, Castori Elementary,

Save the Date:  Welcome & Wellness Fest '09 is being planned for Monday, August 10th from 3 to 6pm at the Twin Rivers District Office, 5115 Dudley Boulevard.  This event will be a kick-off to the new school year and will provide an opportunity for departments, employee organizations, district vendors and health care providers to showcase themselves and the resources and services they offer to our employees.
